On this page
CrateSocial is an invite-only tool that schedules and measures posts across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You can have everything it stores about you removed — your account, your connection tokens, your posts and media, and your analytics history. Here's precisely what that means, and how to ask.
What CrateSocial stores about you
Four kinds of data, in human terms — not database names. This list matches our Privacy Policy exactly.
What a deletion request removes
Once we've confirmed it's you, a deletion removes all of the following — completely.
- Your CrateSocial account — profile, login, role, and invitation record.
- Your connection tokens — every stored OAuth token is revoked and forgotten, disconnecting your social accounts from CrateSocial.
- Your posts and media — drafts, scheduled and published-post records, and uploaded images and video.
- Your analytics snapshots — the full trend history tied to your accounts.
Deleting removes data from CrateSocial and disconnects your accounts. It cannot remove anything that already lives on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok itself — posts already published there stay on those platforms unless you delete them on the platform. CrateSocial will never scrub your public pages.
What may be briefly retained
A few things may persist for a short, bounded window after deletion — never used for anything except the reason listed.
- Minimal legal / audit records — a small log that a request was made and honored, kept only as long as needed for security and fraud-prevention, then deleted within our standard retention window.
- Encrypted backups — your data leaves live systems immediately, and ages out of routine backups on their rotation within 90 days.
- Anything a platform requires — where Meta's or TikTok's own terms oblige a brief hold, we follow that rule and nothing more.
How to request deletion
Two ways to ask, both equally valid — a self-serve form or a plain email. Either way, the path is the same six steps.
- 1Tell us who you areUse the form below, or email us from your account address.
- 2Choose what to deleteEverything, or only specific connected accounts.
- 3Confirm you understand it's permanentDeletion can't be undone, and it cancels pending scheduled posts.
- 4Our team reviews your requestWe verify identity and queue the deletion — no automated email in v0.1.
- 5We delete your data and revoke tokensWithin 30 days of receiving your request.
- 6Closure is recordedThe request is marked complete against your reference once your data is removed.
Prefer email? Send a message from your account address with the subject “Data deletion request,” and include your account or workspace name.
No longer have access? You don't need to sign in. Submit the form or email us with your former account email — a deactivated or offboarded user can still request deletion.
Other ways to remove data
Deletion isn't only through this page. Two mechanisms are built in.
Signed-in managers and admins can disconnect any single social account from Settings → Connections at any time. That deletes the connection's stored tokens immediately — without closing your whole account.
Sign in to manage connectionsIf you remove CrateSocial's access from your Facebook or Instagram settings, Meta notifies CrateSocial automatically and we delete the corresponding data — no action needed here.
After you ask
After our team verifies it's you, we delete your data and revoke tokens within 30 days. Any pending scheduled posts tied to the account are cancelled — nothing publishes after closure.
There's no live dashboard to watch — you'll hear from us by email at the verifying and completed stages. That's by design: confirmation is the proof, not a tracker.
